A jury in LA awarded a total of $10 million in punitive damages to Perry and the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. It followed an earlier decision to award $5 million in compensatory damages divided between the two entities on November 17.
Perry through her company, the Bird Nest LLC, will walk away with $5 million and the Archdiocese with $10 million after prevailing in the lawsuit against Dana Hollister who was found last month to have 'intentionally' interfered in the sale of the convent to the Roar singer.
'We're obviously very pleased,' Perry's attorney Eric Rowen told the LA Times Monday.
