Lil Wayne is one of the most recognizable figures in rap. His breakout 2013 solo release, I Am Not a Human Being II, yielded four singles on the Billboard Hot 100, edging out Elvis Presley to position Wayne as the male artist with the most entries on the chart – a whopping 109 in total. His five Grammys and nine No. 1 albums on the Billboard Top Rap Albums chart helped immortalize his trailblazing use of Auto-Tune, which created a highly melodic hybrid of rap and R&B that has served as a benchmark for many artists following in his path. Lil Wayne has anchored a number of headlining tours throughout his career, and the rapper is poised to hit the road in 2025 to celebrate his 14th solo studio album, Tha Carter VI!
