Gender reveal parties have been in the news for all the wrong reasons lately, and this one is no exception. As parents Kristin and Tom stood in their yard at their gender reveal party, they held tubes with low-grade explosives and colored powder to reveal the gender of their baby. First mom sets hers off, shooting the powder into her lap, previewing the painful surprise dad is about to get. A split second later, Tom is rolling in pain as he catches the brunt of the explosion below the belt.
