Oprah Winfrey is downplaying her interest in a presidential run in a new interview, saying she doesn't "have the DNA" for a run.  "I've always felt very secure and confident with myself in knowing what I could do and what I could not," Winfrey explained.

After her impassioned speech at the 2018 Golden Globe Awards, fans were calling for Oprah Winfrey to run for President in 2020 and the idea spread quickly.

Disney Star Adam Hicks Arrested

Former Disney star Adam Hicks was arrested in connection with several armed robberies, California police said Thursday.

Hicks is suspected of committing three robberies over a two-hour period on Wednesday with the help of his girlfriend, according to the Burbank Police Department in California. His girlfriend is also in police custody.

Hicks, known for his roles in the Disney TV series “Zeke and Luther” and the 2011 movie “Lemonade Mouth,” is accused by one victim of using a gun to take cash, jewelry and cellphones.

Shakira Under Investigation

Pop music star Shakira is under investigation in Spain for possible tax evasion during the three years before she officially moved to Barcelona, Spanish authorities said Tuesday.  Spanish tax authorities suspect the Colombian singer already lived in the northeast city between 2012 and 2014, when she allegedly failed to pay income taxes in Spain.

Celebrities Will Be Wearing White Roses To The 2018 Grammys

The 2018 Grammy Awards takes place this Sunday, and similar to the Golden Globes a few weeks ago, celebs will be showing support for the Times Up movement by wearing white roses.

Key executives have called on artists and employees alike to wear a white rose on Sunday in support of Time’s Up as the Grammys celebrate its 60th anniversary with a ceremony in New York City. The Time’s Up organization was formed by key Hollywood celebrities and executives including Reese Witherspoon, Shonda Rhimes and America Ferrera, and most stars wore black and a Time’s Up pin in support at the Golden Globes earlier this month.

Jessica Simpson Being Sued

A photo agency sued singer Jessica Simpson Tuesday over a photograph of herself that she posted on her social media accounts.

Splash News and Picture Agency, which describes itself as “the world’s leading celebrity and breaking news agency, providing images, video and stories to top publishers across the globe” alleged Simpson stole the photo from the company and posted it to her Instagram and Twitter accounts.

The agency said they were suing the singer and celebrity gossip website Reality TV World for copyright infringement.
